Terms of Use

License
Freeplate is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add details about Freeplate Pro. If they conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA prevails.
Freeplate Pro
- Setting up your table — what people can't eat, how many of you there are, how many dinners a week — and the weekly plan itself, with cooking times, photos where we have them and the “Checked” result for every dinner, are free. Freeplate Pro adds the recipes (ingredients, portions and step-by-step instructions), swapping a dinner and the shopping list.
- Pro is sold as a yearly or monthly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase where the app offers it. The yearly plan may start with a free trial, and a one-time offer may give a lower price for the first year. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and are charged by Apple to your Apple Account.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can cancel any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Free trials and introductory prices. If an offer includes a free trial, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. If an offer has a discounted first period, the regular price applies from the second period. The app shows the exact dates and amounts before you confirm, and — if you allow notifications — reminds you two days before a trial ends.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies: reportaproblem.apple.com.
- We may change prices for future periods; Apple informs subscribers of price increases as required.
Food allergies and your safety
- Freeplate checks each recipe against the ingredients listed in that recipe. It does not know which brands or products you buy, what else is in your kitchen, or how food is prepared where you shop. Always read product labels, including “may contain” warnings, and take care with cross-contact in your own kitchen.
- Freeplate is not medical advice, does not diagnose or treat allergies or intolerances, and does not replace guidance from your doctor or dietitian. If you or someone at your table has a severe allergy, follow your doctor's instructions, and in an emergency call your local emergency number.
- Ingredient data is compiled with care, but recipes and the ingredient list may contain errors. If you find one, please tell us at freeplate@pirog.app so we can fix it for everyone.
- Recipe photos come from Wikimedia Commons under free licences and are credited on each recipe; they show the dish, not the exact plate you will cook.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Freeplate is provided “as is” and we are not liable for losses arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
